Selimal

Selimal

Selimal is a very poor woman who sells a few coconuts in the Kalpakkam market (at 20 -30 US cents each) for a living.

She has never had a house.

She used to live in a small cattle shelter, open at both ends. She said that before she moved into her new house, built for her by Hands on Houses, she was afraid of being bitten by snakes while she slept at night.

She is always praising God and thanking him. We have had wonderful times of prayer in her house with the neighborhood kids crowding in to be part of the activity.

It is such a privilege to be able to see women/widows such as Selimal so blessed by receiving a home
